Our concert was recorded live for broadcast by WFMT Chicago.
No editing has been done and the audience's coughs and sneezes remain intact.
I vividly recall the audience response to each work performed and the inspiration
derived from it. The spontaneity and excitement generated in live performance
can rarely be matched in a studio recording. I hope that the listener will also
sense this reality and be transported back to Chicago's magnificent Orchestra
Hall on a wintry Sunday afternoon so many years ago. --Aaron Rosand
